Adopt-A-Sloth

Released Sloths

Born to be Wild

These sloths were hand-raised or received significant rehab care. Once they were old enough or healthy enough, we released them back to the rainforest.  For some sloths, we are able to regularly track and monitor their progress reintegrating back into the jungle.

Become a Sloth Advocate

By symbolically adopting a sloth you help provide food, medicine and other resources for orphaned and injured sloths rehabilitating at The Sloth Institute.

As a sloth Advocate you will receive a personalized Adoption Certificate of this month’s featured sloth OR the sloth of your choice.

$35

Become a Sloth Protector

By symbolically adopting a sloth you help provide food, medicine and other resources for orphaned and injured sloths rehabilitating at The Sloth Institute.

As a Sloth Protector you receive a personalized Adoption Certificate, Bio sheet and signed photo of this month’s featured sloth OR the sloth of your choice.

$100
Become a Sloth Champion

By symbolically adopting a sloth you help provide food, medicine and other resources for orphaned and injured sloths rehabilitating at The Sloth Institute.

As a Sloth Champion you receive a personalized Adoption Certificate, Bio sheet and signed photo of this month’s featured sloth OR the sloth of your choice. In addition, you will receive a 1 minute video of a TSI sloth expert and the sloths at TSI sending you a celebratory message. You can specify if you would like just a hello, or a happy birthday for someone, or maybe a special way to send holiday greetings.

$250

Become a Sloth Hero

By symbolically adopting a sloth you help provide food, medicine and other resources for orphaned and injured sloths rehabilitating at The Sloth Institute.

As a Sloth Hero you receive a personalized Adoption Certificate, Bio sheet and signed photo of this month’s featured sloth OR a sloth of your choice. In addition you will be able to schedule a LIVE video chat with a TSI sloth expert and the sloths rehabilitating at our facilities. This gives you not only the chance to see sloths up close live without interrupting their day, but it also gives you a chance to ask all of the questions about sloths that you’ve been saving.

$500

About the Hero Call

For the safety of the sloths in training, audio will be between you and your TSI expert and not audible by the sloths. Sloths are very sensitive to unfamiliar sounds, which causes stress to the sloths who are already undergoing medical care and rehabilitation. It is one of the many reasons we are not open to the public.

RELEASED Sloths!
