Whitney

October 2, 2018
Whitney
Firefighters recently helped save this two-fingered sloth off of wires after she had already been electrocuted. She has burns all down the left side of her body, across her stomach and also has a previously healed fracture in her right leg. There is no way to know what damage may be done on her internal organs yet but luckily she is recuperating well so far.
It’s particularly bad for the overall population of wild sloths when females are injured or killed. Thankfully Whitney seems to be doing well and hopefully makes a speedy recovery!
